Authorized Patrons

Authorized patrons of the AUS Library are currently registered students, staff and faculty of Antioch University Seattle.

Audiovisual Equipment

A/V viewing equipment is for use in the library only. For other A/V recording equipment, please contact the Front Desk at 206-268-4000.

Circulation

The library's circulation policies give details about borrowing procedures and check-out periods for library materials.

Code of Conduct

The library has a mission to support research, study and learning in the AUS community and to provide an environment of respect and well-being via the code of conduct.

Collection Development

The library makes purchasing decisions for new materials based on guidelines spelled out in the library's collection development policy.

Copyright

AUS Library services, including Interlibrary Loan and Course Reserves, comply with current copyright law. It is up to each individual user of library materials to be familiar with copyright regulations, "fair use" guidelines and checklist.

Course Reserves

Course Reserve requests must comply with the AUS Library Course Reserves Policy and be submitted electronically through FirstClass to Beverly Stuart.

Donations

Donations of books and other library items are accepted at the discretion of the Library Director. The Library cannot provide verification of financial value of any donated items for tax purposes. We can offer a receipt for the number of items donated. The Library reserves the right to determine the use of donated items.

Interlibrary Loan

AUS Library provides Interlibrary Loan/Document Delivery services to authorized patrons. Requests must be submitted electronically using the online Interlibrary Loan form. Up to 10 requests per person per week will be processed and items are obtained free of charge to the patron whenever possible.
