Costs & Financial Aid | Steps for Financial Aid

Applying for financial aid is as simple as completing these steps. If you have questions, contact the Financial Aid Office. The application process takes six to eight weeks.

Three Easy Steps For New Students

1. Apply for admission at the Admissions Office if you are a new student. Apply early to have your financial aid processed on time. Only students admitted to a degree or approved certificate program can receive financial aid.

2. Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online at www.fafsa.gov.

Read the instructions carefully, follow all the required steps, and ensure you list Antioch University Seattle's school code E00555. After you submit your FAFSA you will receive a confirmation number via e-mail.

If you would like to complete the paper FAFSA, you will need to contact the Department of Education at 1-800-4FED-AID to request a paper copy. Be sure to list Antioch University Seattle's school code E00555 on your list of schools. You will receive a student aid report (SAR) in the mail in four to six weeks.

3. When you receive the SAR, check it for errors.

The SAR contains a section for corrections. If appropriate, note changes in this section. Be sure to sign it as required. Send the SAR to the Financial Aid Office or return it to the processor at the address indicated.

Antioch University Seattle will receive your FAFSA electronically. You will be mailed a financial aid package once you are formally admitted to your program.
