A Women Only Gathering

The Women’s Leadership Summit is an event that will bring people together to deliberate about
ways women lead and to explore ways to support development of women’s leadership around the globe. It honors and amplifies the vision and energy of communities, the grass-roots local level of change that creates global change. A great deal of work has already been completed and the decisions made at the Summit will influence a broad range of further actions. This will be a celebration – marking significant progress, learning, relationships, and development.
Being at this point in any journey enables breadth of vision and clarity
around other peaks yet to be attained.

The Summit will – literally – bring this work to a higher level of impact.  It will enable:

  • Building and nurturing community across cultures
  • Deepening our understanding of what we are learning
  • Creating actionable collaborative strategies for leveraging the results of this Project.

The Summit will be an integrated whole, a gracious space where the network that has been created will be celebrated and expanded.  Participants will include women who care deeply about leadership and global change – Antioch students and alums, women in our larger community, project participants including Country Conveners from Uganda, Ethiopia, Burkina Faso, Nicaragua, Guatemala, Vietnam, Muckleshoot Nation and Antioch University Seattle.
