Here is a glimpse at the talented and experienced staff of Antioch's Community Counseling and Psychology Clinic.

Douglas M. Wear, Ph.D., Clinic Director
Doug Wear is President of Wear & Associates, Inc., Executive Director of the Washington State Psychological Association, and Director of Antioch University Seattle Psychology Clinic. Currently, he is the Chair-elect of the APA Council of Executive Directors of State and Provincial Psychological Associations (CESPPA) and a member of the APA's Continuing Education Committee (CEC). Wear has served in multiple volunteer state and national leadership roles including two state psychological associations, the American Psychological Association (APA), and for the accounting franchise, Fiducial, Inc. He has been an agency and hospital senior manager, a solo practitioner, and developed and sold his own large group practice. He currently owns a management services company, as well as an accounting franchise, and coaches as and consults with business owners and professionals. Wear is a past APA Heiser Advocacy Award winner and former Wyoming Psychological Association Psychologist of the Year.

Jane Harmon Jacobs, Ph.D., Director of Clinical Training
Jane Harmon Jacobs has been a practicing psychologist for more than 10 years and provides clinical supervision to all doctoral interns. She is currently president-elect of the Washington State Psychological Association and teaches in the Antioch University Seattle Center for Programs in Psychology.

Carolyn Russo, M.S., Clinic Manager
Carolyn Russo is a graduate of Texas A&M University in Community Counseling. Russo oversees the daily business operations of the clinic. She works with student therapists, interns and graduate assistants as well as meets with clients. Her interests include learning more about the mind-body connection and how it can be utilized in therapy.

Graduate Assistants
Graduate assistants staff the front desk of the Clinic, provide assistance to clients and student therapists, and assist with daily operations of the Clinic. Graduate assistants work 10 hours a week for the Clinic while taking a full courseload in a master's or doctoral clinical psychology program at Antioch.

Janyce Vick, M.A., LMFT, PsyD. intern
Janyce Vick is a licensed marriage and family therapist with 17 years of experience. Her experience includes community mental health work, in-patient and out-patient programs, work with children and families and most recently work as a trauma specialist at a center for abused children. She is focusing on the issues of revictimization of women in the military for her dissertation project. She is a supervisor in training and student/clinical member of the American Psychological Association and the Washington Psychological Association. Her current interests are with social justice issues in the Northwest.

Sharon Young, M.S., LMFT, Psy.D. intern
Sharon Young is a licensed marriage and family therapist with seven years of clinical experience. Her experience includes individual, group, child and family therapy. Her areas of interest include children, play therapy, women and domestic violence survivors. Young also has special interest in the professional development of psychotherapists and in forensic cases. She is a supervisor in training and clinical member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists.
