Angie Hoffpauir is a clinical member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists and an Approved Supervisor Candidate. She is a past member of the American Group Psychotherapy Association, Association for the Advancement of Social Work With Groups and NASW. She is a licensed clinical social worker and licensed marriage and family therapist. Hoffpauir has served on the graduate faculties of Tulane University, Louisiana Stat University and the University of New Hampshire in addition to serving as the director of several agencies and maintaining a clinical practice. She has publications in the areas of group work, group treatment of depression, borderline personality disorder, interdisciplinary practice and work with families.

Grants and Contracts

UNH Graduate School Summer Faculty Fellowship, Summer 2001. This national survey research examines the attitudes, perceptions and usage by social work practitioners of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fourth Edition (DSM-IV) and the Person-In-Environment System for classifying problems in social role functioning.

Welfare Reform Evaluation New Hampshire (WRENH), 1998 to 2002. Grant awarded to the Center for Health Promotion and Research, School of Health and Human Services, University of New Hampshire. Research team member of federally funded grant to evaluate welfare reform.

School of Health and Human Services Dean's Grant, 2000. Awarded to conduct additional survey research on social work practitioners' familiarity with the PIE and DSM-IV.
