On Interest Area

"Our cultures and our communities throughout the world are exposed to one another and interact in ways never before experienced. Not only do we share access to goods, services and technologies, we also share access to many wisdom traditions. Our collective future depends on understanding, respect and collaboration among the various countries, tribes and cultures of this global system. Each group holds a part of the answer to how we can survive as a global culture, restore the planet and live in peace.

"I am passionate about nurturing a global wisdom culture, about evoking awareness that we are all global citizens. As our consciousness becomes attuned to the fact that we are global citizens, our actions are more likely to contribute in a healthy way to our interdependent world."

On Teaching at Antioch

"Students, faculty and staff at Antioch co-create a dynamic learning community that both challenges and supports all of us in continually developing our potential and pursuing our passion. Our contribution to the world emerges from the creative tension that is developed as individuals and specific disciplines engage in ways that enhance the impact of both the individuals and the collective."
