Shana Hormann is also an affiliated faculty member of the University of Washington School of Social Work. She was on the faculty of University of Alaska S.E. for ten years, teaching for the university in a maximum-security prison and in the outlying villages. Her extensive experience includes direct service, supervision and administration, as well as providing training in group dynamics, organizational trauma and healing, and sexual assault and domestic violence trauma — understanding and intervention for social-service professionals, clergy, lay people, school personnel, law enforcement officials and judges throughout the United States and Canada.
