Instructional Planning (3 credits)
You create an exemplary instructional plan in the new endorsement area using the criteria described in the Pedagogy Assessment Tool.  You clarify and document your readiness to meet the prerequisites of the practicum and competencies required in the new endorsement area.

Practicum (3 credits)
This involves three to six weeks (30 hours) of supervised internship in a classroom appropriate to your new endorsement area. You also collect documentation to be used in your work samples for the exit portfolio. Six weeks prior notification is requested to assist you with identifying your mentor teacher.

Culminating Project (3 credits)
In this course, you prepare an exit portfolio, a collection of your instructional plans and samples of student work to document your content knowledge and teaching effectiveness.
