You can choose to create your own degree program, or select from subject areas such as Arts and Literature, Global Studies, Human Services, Leadership & Organizational Studies, Psychology, Social Justice Studies or Spiritual Studies

Personalized Approach

Completing your liberal arts degree at Antioch is not only an individualized experience but also a personalized one where you are inspired to learn in your own way, ask questions and think more deeply. It is an environment where teachers act as mentors, facilitators and co-learners as well as subject-area experts. Classes are small to stimulate discussion, reflection and an active sharing of ideas. Collaborative group projects, field experience and/or service learning are part of the curriculum. It's a lively way to pursue a liberal arts education.

Network with Diverse Students of All Ages

Because adult learning is the focus, Antioch has an experienced and diverse student population that provides you with peers of all ages and cultural backgrounds. The average age of an Antioch student is mid-30s. Students range in age from their 20s to their 50s and beyond.

Easy to Fit Your Schedule

B.A. courses are generally offered weekdays in the late afternoon and evening to accommodate working adults. Classes meet just once a week. Most students attend school part-time and are on campus one or two evenings each week. 

Length of Program

Because this is a degree completion program, most students graduate with their B.A. degree in one to two years.

Transferring to Antioch

Antioch has a friendly transfer process and accepts most academic credits as well as professional and technical credits. The admissions process includes both an essay and an interview. An associate in arts (AA) degree is not required for entry. Explore the possibilities by speaking with an admissions adviser.
