What kind of work could I do with a degree focused in environmental studies?
You may seek employment in nonprofits doing environmental activism and education, companies that work in green industries such as alternative fuels or wind energy, government agencies that are stewards of the land or any organization involved with the environment. You may also want to go on to graduate studies.
Does Antioch University Seattle offer graduate studies in environmental studies?
Antioch has five master's programs in the Center for Creative Change that focus on sustainability. The programs include environment and community, management and leadership, communication, organizational development and whole systems design. You may also consider the ladder option, which allows you to take courses at the master's level that apply to both undergraduate and graduate studies if you apply to one of Antioch's master's programs.
Who teaches the courses?
All our classes are taught by experienced teachers who are working professionals in their fields. Our faculty includes environmental professionals doing work in permaculture design, sustainable farming practices, green industries development and environmental impact work.
