Although you must be a current B.A. student to eligible for the Ladder Option, you can speak to your admissions adviser when applying to the B.A. program, who can explain the details.
Once admitted to the B.A. program, you declare your interest to your B.A. adviser, who will help you create an academic plan that includes the Ladder Option. You can begin this process as early as the first quarter of your B.A. program, but no later than three quarters before you intend to graduate.
The admissions adviser of your selected graduate program will provide guidance in completing the application and submitting what you need to be considered as a candidate for graduate studies.
