The Leadership & Organizational Studies concentration will enrich your knowledge and skills by connecting social science theory with your life experience. Through small classes and an interactive dialogue with other professionals, you will learn how to create change collaboratively, examine models of leadership and how organizations operate.
This focus is a match for pursuing work in management, human resources, business, public policy making, advocacy, or leadership in fields such as education, health care, and social services. As you complete this concentration, you also acquire the necessary prerequisites for successful graduate study in these fields.
Graduates go on to work in management, human resources, organizational development, professional development training, business, public policy making, advocacy, starting and growing a small business, or leadership in fields such as education, health care, social services, and local and state government.
