Community Landuse Facilitation Workshop July 31 and Aug. 1
Seattle — The Center for Creative Change at Antioch University Seattle is co-sponsoring a workshop designed for sustainability educators and practitioners, permaculture designers and facilitators, environmental educators, community development workers and urban and rural planners. The "Community Landuse Facilitation" workshop will take place from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday, July 31 and Sunday, Aug. 1 on the Antioch campus, located at 2326 Sixth Ave. in Belltown.
Leading the workshop are Robina McCurdy, New Zealand founder-trustee of the Institute of Earthcare Education Aotearoa and developer-director of its educational program PLANET Organic, and Jonathan Scherch, Ph.D., core faulty in the Center for Creative Change. Scherch is a social worker and certified permaculture teacher and designer.
