Shana Hormann
Shana Hormann, M.S.W., core faculty in the Center for Creative Change – Hormann's experience includes providing training and consultation to social-service professionals, clergy, lay people, school personnel, law enforcement officials and judges throughout the United States and Canada. Her current focus is organizational resilience and trauma that ranges from school closures to organizations that provide services to people in trauma, such as sexual assault agencies. She has a background in rural social work, adolescent development and juvenile female offenders. Her other areas of expertise include conflict resolution, group dynamics, nonprofit leadership, feminist leadership, workplace behavior and child abuse and family violence intervention.

Janice Hoshino
Janice Hoshino, Ph.D., ATR-BC, chair of the Art Therapy program and core faculty in the School of Applied Psychology, Counseling and Family Therapy — Hoshino's specializations are couple and family art therapy, multicultural issues in art therapy, domestic violence, family mediation, mental health ethics and mental health issues of Asian Americans. Development of art therapy as a profession is another of her interests. She is a licensed marriage and family therapist and a registered and board-certified art therapist, American Art Therapy Association. Hoshino maintains a private practice in Redmond, Wash. She has published several articles and chapters and is co-author of Family Art Therapy, to be released in spring 2007.
